Trail Overview
Starting on the west side of this trail, the road is graded, smooth, gravel with plenty of room to pass. The road is big enough to haul a camper trailer and there are plenty of large camp sites along the west portion of the trail. However, as the trail progresses east and south, conditions rapidly change. There are almost no campsites off the trail, potholes as deep as 18", and rocks larger in size than basketballs. There are sections of the trail that are deeply rutted, quite bumpy, and skirt steep drop offs on both sides of the road. Passing can be very dangerous in these areas! Watch for erosion. Several very small brooks traverse the trail on the south east section.

Difficulty
While a large section along the west portion of the trail is flat and maintained, the most difficult portions of the trail include deep potholes up to 18", narrow passes with erosion along the ridge line, and short, steep grades.
