Trail Overview

North Bound is an easier scenic way to explore the north side of Merus Adventure. This trail runs through creek beds and next to the canyon walls, weaving toward the back of the canyon. Trails that can be accessed from North Bound are Salt Fork Section 1, Tin Tin, and Kate The Great, also leading to the Meadows Campground. While on this trail, you will see all types of local fauna, including star sunflowers, Blackfoot daisies, tansy asters, buffalograss, sagebrush, yucca and prickly pear cactus that hides in plain sight with the mesquite, cottonwood, western soapberry, and hackberry.
