Trail Overview

Bergflow Section 1 is a difficult trail that is under constant changes from rock falls coming off the walls of the canyon and periodic heavy rains that will rearrange dirt, sand, and rocks. This trail is full of off-camber sections as well as large boulders, ledges, and tight squeezes that will test the most seasoned driver. Bergflow does not have many areas that are not challenging obstacles. Given that it is in the creek bed, there are multiple lines that can be attempted though not many "easy" options. This trail is best run with more than one vehicle. Completing this trail is an accomplishment and completing it with no body damage is an even bigger one.

Difficulty

This is a constantly changing trail with 2 to 3-foot ledges that can grow or shrink depending on where the rains move the sand around. The trail starts with the "Mouth" consisting of a narrow off-camber channel between rock ledges coming off the canyon walls. This is a tight fit and spotters are recommended. The majority of this trail consists of ledges and boulders in the creek bed that have to be navigated.
