Street legal vehicles only. A permit is required from the Ranch Visitor Centers. West Casa Ramon is a two-track road through the rocky area of the North Cienega region and has a designated campsite near the south end of the road. The campsite is located at an old set of pens with a large water tank. Casa Ramon West passes through a couple of sandy washes and climbs up a few inclines. Casa Ramon West is a connecting road between Cat Tail Springs and the ruins of the historical Casa Ramon.

Difficulty
Casa Ramon West is an unmaintained road and is seldom travelled. Weather can add water to the washes, making them impassable for a short time. Cell service is mostly nonexistent. The inclines are loose rock and may cause loss of traction.
