Trail Overview
This is a long mountain road that is almost all single track along the side of the mountains with beautiful views throughout the trail. There are lots of humps and dips that make it a challenge if you have low approach or departure angles, deep rutted mud holes, and a few technical rocky sections. This trail will be a challenge for overlanders but it's worth the views. A winch may be needed if the trail is wet in a Jeep or overland rig. The use of trails in the North Cumberland WMA requires a valid TWRA Riding permit (Type 38, 72, or 71 for Out of State) or the necessary hunting permits to hunt in the North Cumberland WMA (Type 001 and 093 for residents). These are available at https://license.gooutdoorstennessee.com/.

Difficulty
There are deep off-camber mud holes that have the potential to cause body damage. Some of them can be bypassed using steep climbs out of the sides of the hole, which are also a challenge. Expect the trail to get more washed-out and challenging with time.
