Sneed Hollow Road is a short, scenic gravel spur that connects back into the broader Macon County Tour, making it an easy, but worthwhile, down-and-back addition for those looking to extend the drive. Though not officially part of the tour, it flows naturally off the main route and returns you right back where you started. The road is a single-lane gravel two-track that passes residential homes, so slow speeds and respectful driving are important. The route features enjoyable elevation changes and a striking rock wall that runs alongside portions of the drive, adding visual interest to an otherwise relaxed segment. The surface is generally straightforward but can develop shallow water runoff crossings that create minor ruts. After storms, downed trees or small landslides are possible, so conditions can vary. One end of the road is marked with a dead-end sign, though the route continues through and eventually T-intersects with East Form Road. From there, a simple U-turn allows drivers to retrace the road and reconnect with the Macon County Tour. As always, remain on the established roadway and be mindful of nearby homes.
