Trail Overview
If you're up for some light trail riding under a canopy provided by beautiful, mature trees, Cedar Forest Road in the Cedars of Lebanon State Forest has you covered. The trail consists of a mostly well-manicured gravel road that winds through a stunning forest of towering trees. As you drive, you'll hear the crunch of gravel under your tires and the rustle of leaves all around. This trail can be easily navigated by a 2WD vehicle though some areas could prove difficult in low-clearance vehicles as the natural bedrock is coming through in some areas where the gravel has washed away. There are plenty of spots to pull over and snap some great photos of your vehicle against the backdrop of lush greenery. The scenery is amazing--especially when the leaves start changing colors in the fall. Picture vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows all around you, creating the perfect autumn vibe. Overall, Cedar Forest Road is a fantastic place to enjoy some off-roading while soaking in some seriously beautiful views. Please remember to stay on the road and Tread Lightly as numerous offroad trails have been closed at Cedars of Lebanon due to abuse. Whether you're into capturing cool photos or just taking in the sights, this trail won't disappoint.
