Trail Overview

This narrow two-track is rocky, rutted, and tight in spots--definitely more suited for short-wheelbase rigs until the lower portion, where it opens up into beautiful flowing tracks. It winds through pine forest and dips in and out of small draws, with occasional overgrowth and uneven tread. The trail eventually comes to a gate marking the edge of private land. We were able to get written permission via text to pass through using a Starlink connection, but public access beyond the gate is not guaranteed. For most, this is an out-and-back that ends at the gate. No turnarounds beyond that point--trim your track accordingly. Pack in, pack out, leave no trace, and tread lightly.

Difficulty

The majority of this trail is an easy 2 with sections containing slick mud during the spring and deep ruts after the snow. Loose rock and slick ball-bearing type gravel can be found in corners as well.
