Trail Overview

Penrose Road is a graded gravel road. It is a dead-end road on the south. You will have to travel out and back. It is an easy ride in the summer months; however, there is no winter maintenance. During times of rain, snow, and ice, the road will become harder to travel on. Penrose Road is within Sproul State Forest.

Access Description

Penrose Road runs north to south. It is accessed from PA State Route 144 on the north, and it is a dead end on the south. Middle Branch Road and Hicks Road are both connected to Penrose Road.
