Bailer Run Trail is a 5-mile out-and-back graded gravel and dirt road. It is an easy ride in the summer months; however, there is no winter maintenance. During times of rain, snow, and ice, the road can become rutted and harder to travel on. Bailer Run Road is within Sproul State Forest. There are numerous spots to stop along this road and enjoy the foliage and possible wildlife. There are a few campsites located in this part of Sproul State Forest to choose from. This region of Pennsylvania is a great place to explore during the fall when the leaves are changing color, and the full beauty of the State Forest is on display.

Bailer Run Trail is primarily a graded dirt and gravel road. It will become rutted and washed out in the spring due to snow melting. There is no winter maintenance on this road, so during times of snow and ice in the winter, it will become harder.
