The Peninsula

Trail Overview

Rough, unmaintained dirt and rock road accessing 'The Peninsula,' a section of the Crooked River National Grasslands high above Lake Billy Chinook. Full sized vehicles will be challenged to access portions of this road without serious pinstriping. These roads are closed seasonally December 01 - March 31 to protect the winter range of large game. The tip of the peninsula is technically on state park land in The Cove Palisades State Park.
