Haystack Overlook

Trail Overview

This is a combination of gravel roads and dirt two-track accessing the Crooked River National Grasslands from nearby Madras. It is named after a spur that accesses a hill with a great overlook of nearby Haystack Reservoir. There are multiple cattle gates along this track and throughout the area. Make sure to close gates behind you. These roads are closed seasonally (December 01 - March 31) for large game winter range.
