Trail Overview
The Three Forks Trail is a dirt-access road that starts in the main camping area of the Three Forks Recreation Site. It winds around Three Forks Dome to access the boat launch site upstream across from the warm springs flowing out of Warm Springs Canyon. There is a shallow creek crossing just after the bridge and then a short rocky uphill scramble. Note that there is a BLM note on the map calling out "NO FORDING" at this location and that the old historic road scrambling up and out of the other side of the canyon has been closed to vehicle traffic and is now considered a foot trail. Please be respectful of the land, rules and tread lightly.
