#116 (Part 2)

Trail Overview

This segment of Trail 116 is a double black diamond directional trail that should be ridden south to north. It starts as a narrow single track on a ridgeline through lush, overgrown forest. The trail features steep, technical hill climbs followed by sharp descents that include deep troughs, exposed side-hilling, and heavy root obstacles. Sections of the descent are extremely steep with technical drop-offs and root bands, while the trail is already really narrow. You get great views when the trail goes through logged hillsides along the spine.
