Trail Overview
This wooded trail is part of the Oklahoma Adventure Trail and begins with a wide, relatively flat section that passes near a few rural homesteads, where drivers should remain cautious of both local traffic and native wildlife, including the three-toed box turtle and ornate box turtle. As the trail ascends a hillside, it narrows and includes a switchback with a muddy, rocky patch at the base that may become more challenging after rain. While the route provides a scenic forested drive with a mix of open and confined terrain, there are no formal or dispersed camping options. It also lacks basic amenities such as water or trash disposal, and cell service is limited--use your OnX app to assess coverage before traveling.
