Trail Overview
This trail is part of the Oklahoma Adventure Trail and winds through classic cattle and horse country along a well-maintained gravel road bordered by attractive, well-kept homesteads. Shaded sections of the road are prone to potholes, and recent moisture has left some muddy patches in the adjacent fields. The abundance of water along the roadside creates an inviting habitat for local wildlife, and during one recent drive, two snakes were observed crossing the trail. Despite its rural charm, the route does not provide any formal or dispersed camping opportunities and lacks essential services such as trash disposal and potable water. Cell reception is limited, so travelers should consult their OnX app for up-to-date coverage information before heading out.
