Trail Overview
This is a quiet rural back road that winds through the rolling hills and hardwood forest. It's full of coal mining history that once took place deep into the woods of Perry County. It is part of a trail system for ATVs and dirt bikes, so please be careful to watch for others also enjoying the beautiful view that nature has to offer. Please stick to the gravel path as the side paths are used for such activities. But once you enter, it feels as if you are in a deep, remote part of the woods. Travel down the gravel road and pass the swamps that were once a critical part of the mining in the area. There are many slick curves and ruts, and it is prone to flooding in bad weather.
