This State Forest road is a well-maintained Forest Service road inside Shawnee State Forest. It is easily doable in a 2WD vehicle, however, there are a few steep climbs and tight switchbacks to be wary of. This is a lovely trail to drive and enjoy the beauty that Mother Nature provides. It also connects to many other State Forest roads for you to explore.

Trail State Forest Road 2 is a dirt and gravel road in Shawnee State Forest. It features scenic views and access to local hiking trails. Cell service is reliable, and traffic is minimal. There are no bathroom facilities along the route. Enjoy the picturesque valley backdrops.

trail was open and a fun ride with thr family

Very cool ride through the woods, but not really an “off road trail”…same as all my other reviews in this area, these are simply gravel roads, you won’t even need to engage four wheel drive. They are really nice rides and I’d do them again, but was hoping for a bit more rugged terrain.
