Trail Overview

Sutton is a short out-and-back dirt route that offers a mostly easy drive with a brief change in terrain character. The trail begins as a graded path with a smooth, manageable surface before transitioning after a hairpin turn into a narrower, rocky two-track. In this section, rocks begin to protrude from the driving surface, requiring slightly more attention to line choice, though the overall difficulty remains low. The route maintains a generally even grade throughout and does not feature sustained steep climbs or descents. Light ruts may be present, and heavy equipment can occasionally be found in the area, so drivers should remain alert and yield when necessary. Sutton continues to a secure private tower facility at the end of the trail, where access is restricted and serves as a natural turnaround point. As always, remain on the designated route and respect posted signage and private property boundaries.

Sutton is rated a 1 due to its overall gentle grades, manageable terrain, and lack of sustained obstacles. While the trail transitions from a graded surface to a rocky two-track with occasional protruding rocks and minor ruts, these features are intermittent and do not significantly impact the overall driving experience.
