Trail Overview
Stage 8 of the Enduro Trail is a 0.8-mile segment that emphasizes steep hill climbs rather than rock features, offering a test of traction and momentum. The trail begins with a steep descent over leaf-covered hillsides dotted with small roots and potential fallen branches, then transitions into off-camber side-hilling and rutted climbs. Riders will navigate slick diagonal roots, small logs, and short drop-offs before facing a deeply rutted uphill that can be especially challenging from a dig. Even in dry conditions, the terrain remains slick and demanding. As the second-to-last stage of the Enduro Trail, this segment has some good technical challenges, but also starts to give the rider a break as it nears the end of the 12-mile loop.
