Trail Overview
This short trail leads to two small campsites and a hiking trail. It offers a fun drive with a few mildly technical sections that require moderate ground clearance. The trail begins with a narrow, winding path that leads to the first campsite--suitable for up to two vehicles--and the first hiking trailhead. The latter half of the trail involves a small climb to the second campsite and hiking access point. This section includes larger ruts, small shelves, and off-camber areas. The trail remains narrow throughout due to encroaching branches, and near the end, a low-hanging fallen tree makes it impassable for taller vehicles. The trail ends rather abruptly, making turning around difficult and potentially off-camber. It's recommended to turn around at the fork where Headley's Trail branches off to the left, and the trail continues to the right.

Difficulty
The trail's biggest challenge is a couple of small climbs with ledges that are no taller than 10 inches at the top. A few trees and branches have fallen and are encroaching on the trail, making it challenging for larger vehicles and potentially causing body damage or pinstriping.
History
This area was heavily impacted by Hurricane Helene in late 2024. Signs of the storm's effects remain visible and include small ruts, downed trees, and evidence of minor mudslides.
