Trail Overview
Pringle Road Spur 1 is a branch off of Pringle Road and is a sandy, narrow, single-track trail. The trail presents a variety of challenges, including loose sand, encroaching trees, mud pits, and small water crossings. While most of the trail is relatively easy, the water and mud crossings can vary in depth from a few inches to about a foot. The bottoms of these crossings are generally firm, but may become soft after rain. As mentioned, additional challenges include narrow sections with overhanging branches and close trees, making pinstripes likely for full-size vehicles. The sandy terrain can be tricky at times, though it is mostly packed, with only a few stretches of loose sand.
