Trail Overview

Pettiford Creek Trail 14 is a short connector trail that links Bogue Road to Pettiford Creek Trail 13. While generally mild, it can feature a few shallow mud pits--typically no deeper than a few inches--that may cause issues for less capable vehicles, especially after rainfall. Additional challenges include stretches of loose sand and tight, winding bends shaped by the surrounding trees or small ruts. The trail can be driven relatively quickly, but drivers should remain alert for narrow sections, oncoming vehicles, wildlife, and pedestrians.
