Trail Overview

Pettiford Creek Trail 11 is a short offshoot from the Pettiford Creek West Entrance that leads to a small, secluded campsite along Pettiford Creek. The site can accommodate up to three or four vehicles, including creek access and a fire ring. At the beginning of the trail, there is a noticeable hump that may pose a challenge for vehicles with low ground clearance; however, this can be bypassed by using Pettiford Creek Trail 12. The rest of the trail is packed sand with minimal risk of mud, making it one of the easier routes in the area--aside from the initial obstacle.
