FS 206 Spur 1

Trail Overview

This trail branches off Pettiford Creek - FS 206 and winds through Croatan National Forest land. The majority of the route is relatively easy but includes a few minor challenges. Some sections feature loose sand, tight encroaching trees, and potential mud pits after recent rain. While the trail does have a couple of short offshoots, they are little more than simple pull-offs. A small clearing along the route could serve as a campsite for one or two vehicles in a pinch.

Difficulty

The trail is relatively easy, with the only challenges being minor loose sand, potential mud pits, and narrow sections. With careful driving and minimal recent rainfall, most of these challenges can be avoided, making it a manageable drive for most vehicles.
