Trail Overview
The route began well, starting on the Northside. The trail had the usual breath taking views that National Forests contain. As the service road progressed, it went from service road to sharp gravel and jagged rocks. It then transitioned to rough terrain with spectacular views, definitely a road less traveled, and ran into no other off-roaders on this particular trail. A trail definitely not for a beginning off-roader nor intermediate. The best way to describe this route is, "The best views come from the hardest climbs".
Difficulty
Very rocky and difficult to navigate without proper navigation tools. recommend 4x4 and understanding of being off camber. timely trail.
