Trail Overview
This short trail weaves through a desert terrain of juniper bushes on hardpacked dirt and sand. It has a couple of small rock ledges a foot or two high. It comes up to an optional large obstacle that is a steep rock ledge slope that would be about a 6 or 7 difficulty due to its steepness. You can choose the easier line though, which is a 1-2 foot ledge instead, and a steep dirt hill that takes you up to a nice viewpoint. It keeps winding through the desert, along the rim of a rock ledge and goes past an oil well. It ends at an intersection with the Upper Rim trail, which is much harder. This trail is within the Open OHV Area of Glade Run and accesses some of the harder rock crawling trails.
