Trail Overview
This is an almost 4-mile-long wash loop that is designated for ATVs. The southeast entrance enters the North Twin Wash and heads west. It's a smooth and wide white sand wash, with rock walls to the side, lots of bushes, and pinyon lining the wash. There are several unmarked wash intersections, so the map is helpful to stay on track. It's very straight, with a few gradual curves. It narrows up in some spots where there are more trees in the wash, and you have to duck for some branches. It turns north out of the wash onto a natural gasline route that gets up onto a ridgeline. It climbs up and over the small rolling hills on a dirt trail with a bit of loose rock and ruts, but it's overall still very easy. It turns right into the Pickering Arroyo and heads back east to make the loop.
