Trail Overview
This is a moderate SXS trail through the Glade Run Recreation Area. There is no trail sign at the beginning or throughout the route, so it's helpful to have a GPS map here to stay on track. The west end starts by climbing up a dirt hill to a slickrock layer on top of the mesa. As it winds atop the mesa, it goes both up and down some slickrock obstacles. Most of them are only intermediate difficulty because they are ramped, and you can hit them straight on, so they aren't off-camber. Some of them are still pretty big, but they are gradual and not so steep. There are several small rock ledges about a foot tall, and several long sections of fast and easy dirt with flat layers of slickrock without any obstacles. It often crosses roads and washes and makes unmarked turns. It's a fun easier trail compared to the many extreme rock crawling trails here.
