Trail Overview

The Benson Canyon Spur is a short connector trail between 5005 and 5006. It is a mild connector route, with a gradual slope, but a consistent layer of small, loose rocks. It goes along a shelf cut into the hillside through a forested corridor of pines and fir trees, with gentle curves. The trail has no major obstacles, and maintains a gradual slope for the entire .8 miles. It is significantly less rocky than both trails 5006 and 5005. The trail was clear of any logs by early springtime, and it looks like it is well-maintained and will be cleared of any downfall for the season.
