Trail Overview
ATV trail 950 is a short and easy two-track through a high desert terrain in rolling hills in the Gila National Forest. The majority of the trail is wide, a mix of dirt and gravel, with shallow ruts, meandering between big juniper bushes. It narrows up at times and rides on the spine of the little rolling hills, and becomes fainter at times, overgrown with a layer of grass, and sometimes covered in big rocks. You get scenic views of the surrounding hills. There are a few big water bars that are big rollers. The north end of the trail starts off of Bursum Road (159), and it goes southwest until it intersects with FS Road 4231G. About halfway through, it crosses FS Road 4231H, where there is some good dispersed camping and wide open places to park or stage.

Difficulty
Overall, the trail is easy; however, there are a couple of spots that are a bit narrow and steep as it goes out on the edge of a hillside. It remains very gradual, with very minor rock, making it approachable for beginner riders.
