Trail Overview

This trail starts at the end of Cobble Hill Rd and ends at Stones Mill Rd. It is primarily uphill on wet, uneven, rocky terrain consisting of large rocks to climb over and loose gravel. There are a lot of steep drops that a stock vehicle may not be able to handle. Along the trail lies a small cemetery from the 1800s and some wetlands. There isn't much for sightseeing, but it is good for those looking for more challenging terrain.

Difficulty

Trail has uneven, wet, rocky terrain. the larger rocks can be difficult to get over due to being steep and having big dips in between. The loose gravel can also make it difficult to gain traction along with the small brook that travels down the trail.

Started on the side with the pond by Pisgah State Forest, wheeled to the Draper camp site and stayed for the night, very wet and rocky but not difficult even with only 1 inch lift. After the campsite the rocks got too big for the rig so we went to the other side and turned around when we couldn't go any farther. Would say it was a 3/4 rating for what we did but turns into a 5 around the midway point. The photo shows the spot we turned around at on the opposite end I would reccomend walking the difficult parts first it's deceiving.
