The Sultan Mine road is an unmaintained access road leading to the abandoned Sultan Mine just below Little Devil Peak south of Goodsprings Nevada. It is accessed off of Sandy Valley Road. Much of this road follows or meanders through a wash with soft sand and boulders. Conditions will change after each storm. Some of the mine structures still remain and there are open shafts. Watch your step.

Made it half way before running into a 6 foot wash out section, trail had extremely deep ruts

A bit confusing at first, made some wrong turns, no internet and first time using the app, road was easy till the end, some washed out sections, well worth the trip.

Very easy trail. Easier than many of the green trails in the area. Only tricky part is the last 100 feet where you have to squeeze between two rock ledges. My stock OBX Bronco fit fine and the cameras made it easy to navigate. A spotter might help if you have a wider/longer vehicle or aren’t comfortable with placing your rig. The trail ends in small area made up of mining tailings that is loose and shifty, making it feel like sand almost. It would be easy to get dug in so be careful with that.

Easy smooth trial for the most part. The only “technical” part is right before the mine. The trail narrows up against a rock cliff for maybe 300ft, and this part really wasn’t difficult. I was in a stock Chevy Colorado trail boss and the cameras made this trail easy. I could see having problems if someone is in a full sized truck.
