Parker Canyon to Mission Wells Staging Area showcases a breathtaking high-desert ride. This route features soft dirt roads--without deep sand--guiding you through a scenic high mountain bowl, past grazing areas, and alongside the Slick Reservoir. As this area is open grazing, you must watch for livestock in your path. The trail concludes at the Mission Wells Staging Area, which offers convenient amenities like restrooms and ample truck and trailer parking. Before descending Parker Canyon through the expansive Dry Valley riding area, take advantage of the numerous sidetracks and trails branching off the main route. These additional paths offer hours of exploration, making this ride a perfect blend of adventure, natural beauty, and accessibility.
