Bird Spring Pass

Not a hard trail but it was VERY bumpy with LOTS of whoops. Wife’s description is we were cell phones vibrating the whole time. Overall pretty easy and good views!

I was arrived around 7am as the sun was rising, it was just gorgeous to watch. It was 41 degrees out, made coffee while the sun rose. The rain from the previous day made the ground damp but not overly muddy. Based upon some of these trail updates I was going to have to turn around. This trail had plenty of large washboard, there were a couple of sketchy parts I didn’t think the truck would do, it made the entire tea like a champ. As the cloud cover came in it got down to 34 and some light rain here and there. This was a fun trail, lifted vehicle would be suggested on the north half of the trail. I want to do this trail again from north to south! An absolute blast!

The start of the trial is nice and smooth but half way through I regretted leaving the house that day.
