Upper Willow Saint Clair

Trail Overview

This is an easy, mostly graded trail into the hills. There are outstanding views of the Bitterroot Valley below. There is intermittent cell service and no winter maintenance. The last few miles become more narrow and challenging with ruts and puddles. There are lots of other trails that spur off of this main one; many are locked in the middle of October. Watch for firewood collection in the middle of the trail.

This trail is mostly graded and easy, with one lane in most spots and ample pullouts to allow for oncoming traffic to pass. It could be impassable in snow.
