Trail Overview

A rough, but maintained forest service trail off of the main Langohr Road in Hyalite Canyon. There are various dispersed camping spots off of this trail, as well as several beautiful viewpoints to see the Canyon and the Canyon Road from. Keep in mind the rules (posted earlier in the Canyon) about dispersed camping and fires.

Difficulty

There are no real technical challenges on this route. Other than deep potholes and chunky, uneven surfaces, this is a standard and unchallenging trail.

Access Description

From the main Hyalite Canyon Road, take a right onto Hood Creek Road 627. Take this straight for approximately one mile before taking another right onto Langohr Toole Road (6233), which becomes this trail.
