Trail Overview
Crazy Creek Trail starts as a spur trail from the Crazy Creek Warm Springs Trail. This trail serves as an access to the Shook Mountain - Medicine Point dirt bike trail. This is a trail that you won't want to gain too much speed going down, as it has some rocky sections. Although rocky, no rocks are taller than 6 inches above ground. Some short sections are smoother than the rest, but overall, it can be a fairly bumpy ride, so airing down your tires may benefit you on this trail. This trail is mostly one full-size vehicle wide with a light scattering of pullouts. Some sections of this trail turn into a double-track trail while the rest is the typical rock/dirt trail. Many of the turns in this trail have had fresh gravel laid down, so those are a good short break from the bumpy road. There are a fair number of potholes on this trail, some of which are pretty abrupt. There are also some ruts, but they are pretty shallow (4 inches or less). This trail has a few mild switchbacks, and the overall trail is a mild climb. There are a couple of short sections of this trail where bush limbs protrude into the trail. If you are in a full-size pickup or similar-width vehicle, you will likely pick up some light clear coat scratches. There are some good views of the surrounding mountains and valleys along the way. If you are hauling a dirt bike up this trail to ride the Shook Mountain - Medicine Point trail, there is a good parking/ unloading area at the very end of this trail. Hauling a trailer up this trail is not recommended, however. If you have a trailer, the very beginning of this trail should be big enough to park a truck and trailer, or two.

Difficulty
Although this trail is pretty rocky, its overall difficulty is still low. The rocks are all small, just an abundance of them. There are some tight spots along the way where you might pick up some light paint damage, and there are some pretty steep drops off the edge on a narrow trail as well. Otherwise, this trail doesn't really have any obstacles, and still most vehicles should be able to make it up without too much effort.
