Trail Overview
Prospect B (FS 3813B) is a low-standard natural gravel and dirt forest service road within the Poplar Bluff Unit of Mark Twain National Forest. The road heads south from the New Prospect (FS 3813), featuring mild grade changes, as the road surface fades quickly from maintained gravel into natural coarse gravel and dirt, the path's width also shrinks the further into the track a user goes, eventually consisting of tight turns and trees, forcing wise rig placement and line choices to navigate these tight squeezes, with fallen trees on the pathway being highly likely and the biggest obstacles present. 500 feet east past the end of the MVUM track is the Eagle Bluff hiking trail that starts in the Markham Springs area. It could be accessed from this trail if using OnX to help pinpoint the approximate location of the path. There is also a hiking path that diverts south from the end of the MVUM-sanctioned track that eventually ends at private property.

Difficulty
Prospect B is given a base rating of 2/10, consisting of mild graded hills, over coarse natural gravel and dirt path, with soft dirt spots, potential surface mud, small loose cobbles, small log crossings, natural rock poking out of the surface, and small active erosion washes being under a foot of depth. The unsung difficulty is the tight trees and turns between trees on this track, be aware that several tight squeeze points will have to be navigated. The difficulty could increase due to a lack of maintenance or extremely wet and inclement conditions, but difficulty could also decrease if the road were to be mended with gravel throughout. Though it is not prohibited, the trail is not recommended for full-size use.
