Trail Overview
Forest Service Road 2695 (Palmer North) connects Palmer Road and Pigeon Roost Road. At the trailhead near Palmer Road, you'll encounter the historic Palmer Church, established in 1840. The majority of the trail is a well-maintained gravel road, though there are a couple of small washouts (less than 6 inches deep) that require adequate ground clearance. About midway through, the trail intersects with Forest Service Road 2299, which features some unique hill climbs and scenic views.
