Trail Overview
This is a very long, unmaintained two-track trail that should be traveled at your own risk. For much of its length, it runs smoothly through forested terrain, offering a generally scenic route. This trail also runs alongside the Beltrami Wildlife Management Area, so beware of wildlife crossing the trail. There are several side trails branching from the main path that are used for walking, hiking, and hunting. At one point, the trail crosses a wooden bridge over a river, with water visible alongside sections of the route. The trail alignment is mostly straight, though there are some gentle curves. A few residences are located near the starting point. The trail reaches a T-junction where the route branches to the left. Evidence of logging is present, and heavy machinery can sometimes be seen in the surrounding forest. This is a popular trail for side-by-sides and ATVs, but it lacks amenities such as trash disposal and a water supply, and cell service may be limited.
