Trail Overview

This moderately challenging gravel trail is rated a three and begins with a relatively wide two-vehicle path that winds through the forest, climbing and descending along the way. Early on, the route passes by private land before crossing a bridge over a scenic river. As you continue, you'll encounter several small offshoots branching from the main track. Eventually, the main trail transitions into a narrower ATV trail, which becomes progressively rougher, with a mix of rocks, overgrown vegetation, and uneven surfaces shaped by water erosion. One open gate is located along the route and may be closed during the winter months. The trail descends into low scrub before climbing again into denser forest terrain, with rocks scattered along the path. It remains narrow throughout, eventually reaching a marshy area before ending at a forest road that gradually fades away. Wildlife sightings are possible in this quiet and remote setting. Three ATV-accessible offshoots share the same difficulty rating, primarily due to their rocky, eroded, and isolated nature. The route offers no formal campsites, trash facilities, or access to potable water, and cell service may be unreliable. The first two miles are only accessible by highway-legal vehicles. At the split of the trail to Spur C, all other vehicles can drive on this trail.
