Trail Overview
This mostly scenic trail is accessed from Haney Road and begins as a wide, smooth gravel route that gradually climbs into the forest. As the elevation increases, the trail narrows to a two-track configuration but remains well-maintained and smooth throughout. Numerous clearings appear along the way, likely the result of earlier logging operations. The higher the trail climbs, the drier the terrain becomes, with fewer wet areas and a firmer surface underfoot or tire. While the route passes through stretches of attractive forest, there are also a few unnamed trails branching off from the main path. Despite the remote setting, several residences are scattered along the trail, so it's essential to remain mindful of occasional local traffic. There are no designated or formal campsites along this route, and it does not offer any basic services such as trash disposal or potable water. Cell phone reception may be inconsistent or unavailable in some areas.

Difficulty
The trail is maintained but can develop light overgrowth between trims, especially in the summer months. Commonly used by local OHV traffic, the path remains visible and passable, though branches and low brush may occasionally encroach.
