Trail Overview

This trail begins as a wide, well-maintained gravel road, suitable for two vehicles, and soon reaches a clearing that can be used as a parking area or a spot to offload ATVs and side-by-sides. Beyond this point, the trail narrows considerably, becoming a two-track suited for single-vehicle passage. The surface transitions to a mix of gravel and sand, with overgrown vegetation creating the potential for pinstriping on larger vehicles. Fallen trees are common along the way, though many have been cleared to keep the route open. As the trail progresses, it introduces rocky ascents and descents, along with sections of off-camber terrain that require careful navigation. Steep ditches run beside the track in places, limiting the ability to turn around. Only a few small clearings break up the dense forest surroundings. The trail eventually ends in a larger clearing where two additional tracks branch off. Both of these offshoots are very narrow and heavily overgrown, making them better suited for ATVs and side-by-sides rather than larger vehicles. This trail is best approached as a narrow and technical forest track with limited turnaround options, ending in a clearing that serves as a junction to smaller, ATV-focused paths. The route has no formal campsites, and it does not provide amenities such as trash disposal or potable water. Cell service may be weak or unavailable in certain areas, so visitors should plan ahead.
