Trail Overview

This unmaintained trail is made up of gravel and rock and winds through dense forest, with a mix of moderate ascents and descents. Vegetation crowds the narrow path, making pinstriping likely for any vehicle navigating the route. The surface is rough, with numerous rocks and wet patches, particularly during the summer months. Around 0.7 miles in, the trail becomes impassable due to flooding and several downed trees that completely block the route. Prior to that point, there is a small clearing that serves as an informal parking area and could work for dispersed camping, though it is undeveloped. In July, much of the trail is saturated, and drivers should be prepared for deep mud in some areas. Along the way, travelers may notice seasonal wildflowers, ripe berries, and signs of wildlife, including bear scat. There are no formal campsites or infrastructure along the trail, and it lacks services such as trash collection, drinking water, or restroom facilities. Cell coverage is likely to be minimal or nonexistent
