Sucker River Road

Trail Overview

Sucker River Road is a dirt/sand mix road with a tree line close to the edge of the road, making it a nice fall ride. The road can be muddy during spring thaw and after heavy rain. Before hitting the trail, stop in Grand Marais for a walk along Lake Superior near Lake Avenue. You will find a sandy beach, and if you don't like sand in your toes, there is a nice boardwalk. There is limited cellphone service on most of the trails in this area.
