Trail Overview
NFS 9847/Cedar Creek Motorsport Trailhead is a short and easy off-road trail located within the Manistee National Forest. This trail has nothing technical, but don't sleep on it. Its sandy base can catch you off guard if you're not careful. The trail starts/ends next to the Cedar Creek Motorsport Trail Parking Area, which is used for ATVs and dirt bikes. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause mud/water holes that can get rutted out quickly. With this trail consisting of mostly sand, recent weather could cause washouts very easily. Most of this trail is only wide enough for 1 vehicle with some places to pass. Regardless of the conditions, this is a great short trail that can connect you with other nearby trails!
