Trail Overview
Horseback riding, hiking, and hunting are all options here.Forest Service Road 6325 is part of 2 unique trails in the area that offer wonderful views of the tall red pine and hardwood trees along a high sand dune bluff overlooking the Big South Branch Pere Marquette River. The trail is very easy with nothing technical. There are many other trails nearby to explore as well. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause mud/water holes that can get rutted out quickly. Most of this track is only wide enough for 1 vehicle. There are a few pull-off spots for passing though. Regardless of the conditions, this is a trail that should be experienced at least once to take in its sincere beauty. Whether you're using this trail for off-road use, to access hunting, or to just be in the great outdoors, you really can't go wrong with NFS 6325. At the end of this route, you'll come across a few really nice dispersed campsites. If you choose to use these for yourself, please leave them better than you found them. Enjoy a hidden gem for a Lower Mitten Michigan trail.
