NFS 5412

Trail Overview

NFS 5412 is a sandy bidirectional off-road trail located within the Manistee National Forest. BE PREPARED FOR A WASHBOARD, SANDY, AND EXTREMELY BUMPY TRAIL. This track will shake you like no other. From the North you'll start in a tunnel of trees and finish to the South at the intersection of East 10 Mile Road. Most of the trail consists of sand and dirt. Like most of Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause downed trees, washouts, & mud holes. Come prepared, and be ready for a bumpy ride! One last thing to mention is this trail is a seasonal trail that is used for snowmobiling during the winter months. Regardless of the conditions, this is a unique trail with other cool trails nearby!
