MI 1 - Marinesco to Bergland

Trail Overview

This is a fantastic western UP trail. From Marinesco, cross the Presque Isle River. Wind through a tight forest before continuing on Ottawa National Forest roads. These roads are wide and flat, with lots of varied terrain. If you have the time, this trail is typically in better condition than trail 8 to get from Bergland to the west. Keep in mind that the gas station in Marinesco closes before 6 PM most days.
